Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a therapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse. The counselor is required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person(s). The counselor must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
  • If a client intends to harm himself or herself. The counselor will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, further measures may be taken without their permission in order to ensure their safety.


Cancellation Policy

If you do not appear for your scheduled in-office appointment, and you have not notified Next Level Christian Counseling at least 24 hours in advance, you will still be assessed the normal session fee. If you miss a scheduled phone appointment without giving a 24 hour advanced notice, one 50-minute phone session fee will be assessed.
