The subject of the love of God is the greatest subject in the world. It not just the greatest subject in the Bible, but the greatest in the world.
The Scripture says that "for God so love the world that He gave His one and only son … "(John 3:16, NIV). It did not say for God so love the Christians, but the world. God is so compassionate and loving that He
causes the rain to fall on the righteous and the unrighteous; and the sun to shine on the just and unjust. God is an indiscriminate lover. (See Matthew 5:43-48)
In Jeremiah 31:3 the Scripture says “The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying , Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee.” He said He has loves
us with an everlasting love. There are many subjects in the word of God that can be explained, but when it comes to the love of God we cannot explain it. God loves us; we don’t know why. All we know is that it is an
EVERLASTING love. He made the heavens and the earth, the myriads of angels and all the orbits and heavenly bodies, entities and the galaxies, yet man which He made from the dust-the weakest when compare to all of his creation,
was the one He decided to love and to care for. And even when Adam fell, Love went after him and redeemed and restored him.
What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
